Altilium Energy is a company specializing in the development of stand-alone battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, the main purpose of which is to stabilize and optimize the operation of power transmission and distribution networks, which is particularly important in markets where there is a dynamic increase in newly created capacity of renewable energy sources.
Altilium Energy is owned by one of the largest Polish family investment funds (Polish capital), originating from the furniture industry, with assets worth over EUR 250 million.
The fund operates in several industries in Poland, including industries such as: renewable energy (Prime PV group dealing with solar energy projects and Altilium Energy),Β modular construction (DMDmodular, which built, among others, the world’s highest modular hotel for the Marriott brand in New York City), or glass processing (investments in leading glass hardening plants in Poland, which are the largest suppliers of glass for “IKEAβ).
The current value of assets of the fund which is the main owner of Altilium Energy is over EUR 250 million. This means we have significant Polish capital behind us, as well as a team which – since 2016 – has successfully developed over 900 MW of installed capacity in solar energy (PV) and wind farm projects, and is currently focusing on energy storage.
